Shutters

Devices built to assure an additional protection in case of tampering of the duct,
which connects the outside to the inside of the safe.

Should the Pneumatic Mail system not be already provided with a closing device, it is essential to provide for the assembly of a shutter inside the safe to make the means safe and reliable.

The shutter device, as a matter of fact, is a crucial tool for the protection of the content of the safe, offering an immediate barrier against content fishing attempts by fraudulent tampering of the duct, which reaches the inside of the same safe. Moreover, such device determines an efficient barrier between the inside and the outside of the safe. Such device is made up of a motor-powered shutter able to open and close the access hole of the container, for goods conveyed by pneumatic mail. It is assembled inside the safe, immediately under the ceiling of the same.

The presence of a pair of photocells, placed right before the inlet of the sack, allows to count the incoming containers. Moreover, in case of open door and/or lock and/or combination of the safe and/or missing sack, the system immediately closes the shutter.

It is possible to set the operation time slot, during which the shutter shall be open, whereas the shutter shall close outside of the established time range. The system is managed by a CPU card, designed and implemented by Parma, which contains the required interfaces for the control of the motor and the management of all the other functions.
