The rack closets are widely used in the industrial field, of telecommunications and information technology, and are used to contain in a neat, flexible and easy-to-access way network systems, such as: servers, switches, routers, measuring tools, etc. In this way, in case of failure or when a component needs to be updated, the replacement of the piece or its maintenance can be carried out in a fast, clean and safe way, a definitely difficult, more expensive process and with interruption of service availability in case of an integrated system.
Each rack closet possesses a closing device with a Parmadelay delayed opening system, to prevent third parties from accessing. Access is allowed from the front and rear area.
This allows to act on the physical controls of the server (front), by connecting, if required, a monitor and a keyboard, and act, instead, on the various connections (power supply, network, etc.) from the rear part.
The standard 19’’ rack containment closet is available in various sizes, in the basic armoured version with 2 mm steel structure or in the Superior Safety version with 3 mm steel structure.
